The project Schulfee pays the school fees for children and juveniles.
We want to help where our help is needed and can grow. This works as follows.
The participating schools and priests of the parishes in Zambia will look out for young people whose families cannot afford the money needed for a school attendance. Since communities are very strong in Zambia and the parish priests know the people very well, this seems like a suitable task.
The candidates will be asked to make a formal application for support (assisted, of course, when they cannot yet write) that is being examined by the Development Department of the Monze diocese. Afterwards, payment will be done by the Deparment directly to the school. This way the proper use of the money is being ensured - as well as the support not marked as charity (to be ashamed for) but rather as a kind of scholarship (to be proud of).
Donations from Germany will be collected and transfered to the Developtment Department in Zambia. Banking charges are payed by the KHG Aachen.
Donations in Zambia will be collected under the slogan Sharing the little we have directly by the Development Department.
The Development Department has written down the guidelines in a project concapt that is available as download below.
Further material, such as a handout, is mostly available in German.
