From EUR 50 per year onward the ewe will issue a donation receipt.

In the anual reports in our blog we describe how and where the support applies in Zambia. This project is not about taking over individual sponsorships/adoptions. Instead the funds are being transfered in a batch to the Development Department that directly pays for the school fees.

Amount

Every amount helps. As we will bundle different donations together there is no need to meet a specific sum with each donation.

For the start of our project we focus directly on the school fees. When the need for notebooks, uniforms and other material arises and we are sufficiently funded, we will be happy to meet this need as well. All the time we will be collaborating with the Development Department and not pay out cash to individuals.

School Fees per Year

The exact data varies depending on the currency conversation rate, the specific school, grade and ear. The point of reference for some schools from 2019 is:

  • St. Mary’s School, Monze: EUR 64 (grades 8-9)
  • Secondary School, Chirundu: 100 €
  • GRZ Secondary, Maamba: 112 €
  • Nkandabbwe Secondary School, Maamba: 135 €
  • Kasenga Girls Secondary: 255 €

Additional fees for paper (e.g. EUR 5, St. Mary’s) or examinations (e.g. EUR 14 St. Mary’s) apply.
